The Bachelor travels to Puerto Rico tonight! Who will get a rose?

*spoilers below*

7:00 Courtney admits there’s animosity with Emily. “If she slips up with me a few more times, I will embarrass her so bad,” Courtney told the cameras. Let’s keep in mind, Courtney convinced Ben that she’s not all about drama. I wish I could be with Ben when he’s watching the footage of what Courtney is REALLY like.

The girls all get a date with Ben while in Puerto Rico, but Nicki gets the first one-on-one date with Bachelor Ben. “Let’s find a new love in old San Juan,” a note reads in Spanish. Sounds like a romantic day around the city.

Courtney is worried about spending all day with Emily because Emily’s on her “sh*t” list. C’mon,  let’s get real.. if Courtney was this confident, secure person she pretends to be no other girl should be an issue.

7:10 Nicki’s getting ready for her first date with Ben and admits she will be “disappointed” if she doesn’t leave Puerto Rico with a rose. Ben admits that he likes Nicki because she brings out a “fun side” because she likes to be positive and enjoy life.

Ben wants to keep things low key to see if she’s ready for a relationship after her divorce and he wants to get to know her on a personal level. As the two are parading around San Juan it starts to downpour. Some cultures would say that the rain is good luck.

“This girl is great for going with the flow,” Ben said about Nicki’s attitude about the rain ruining their date. Instead the two go clothing shopping for authentic Puerto Rican outfits. He is walking around in complete white linen, while her dress is loud and flowery. They look as comfortable together as Ben thinks they feel together.

“I’m falling harder and harder as the minutes go by,” Nicki admitted. The two sat and talked about weddings as they watched a Puerto Rican wedding. Awkward? The date ends with a romantic glass of wine. Ben gets her to open up about her marriage and past. Could this conversation be too soon? Even if Ben wants to talk about his nerves regarding marriage?

7:20 Back at the house.. the girls are fighting about who deserves a one-on-one date with Ben. Of course Courtney is arguing that she should have another one-on-one date. Elyse thinks it’s not fair that she’s never had a one-on-one date and only one group date. Good news is Elyse is the other one-on-one date. Blakely is upset it’s not her. These girls need to realize that the one-on-one date at the end is better than earlier. This helps give an impression he will remember.

7:24 NICKI GETS A ROSE! Could there be better news? She is at least real and not trying to impress him. She’s honest and deserves this second chance at love. Right now we’re definitely Team Nicki.

7:30- The Group Date. “Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend.” Translated to: Ben loves baseball, the heat is on.

Blakely was most excited because she’s a big baseball fan and is good at playing. Chris Harrison arrives to tell the girls is that they are playing for an extra date with Ben that night. Ben feels guilty that only five of the ten girls are invited to the beach party. One woman plays on both teams and automatically gets an invite to the party. Ben has to choose and hates the pressure, but chooses Lindzi gets the invite. Whaaat not Courtney? The teams are split u, naturally Emily and Courtney are on opposing teams. 

Casey S., Jamie, Courtney and Kacie B. are the red team. In the first inning they had five runs, Ben was worried the blue team had no chance. Rachel, Jennifer, Blakely, Casey lucked out when Ben made a throwing error giving them a big chance. “Their intensity is making me feel good about the women I have left,” Ben said. After the second inning the game is tied- who will win?

7:41 Ben is amazed with how competitive the game is, but is really that shocked? Girls are ruthless. The red team is up by one run, but Jennifer strikes out. The red team wins the game. The blue team is all anger and tears. Surprisingly Blakely throws a temper tantrum because she wanted the extra time with Ben. Y’know because that’s not what EVERY girl on this show wants?

Ben was hung up on how bad he felt that the other team couldn’t join the beach party, even if it’s easier to focus on the smaller group of women. Courtney continues to sit back and judge all the other girls because she “doesn’t see Ben with most of the other women.” She feels most threatened by Kacie B. at the beach party. I’d be more concerned about Lindzi. She left a good first impression and he continues to pick her when he can pick any of the girls.

7:53 Kacie B. gets the rose! Another good decision from Bachelor Ben tonight.

7:55 Courtney ruins the group date asking him to skinny dip. Of course, he’s thinking about it. However, despite what Courtney thinks going skinny dipping is not hot, in fact it makes her look… “easy.”

8:00 Elyse is preparing for her first one-on-one with Ben when the envelope arrives. The note reads, “Let’s find somewhere private…Ben.” Ben picks Elyse up for a ride on a private yacht. She’s nervous it could go wrong, Ben admits that his feelings changed when he took Ashley on a boat. Right now he’s down to the women he likes, so his job is “difficult.” Elyse does not look natural with him. It feels like Ben’s not really feeling her too much either.

Bachelor Ben looks adorable in his tux and bow tie at dinner with Elyse. He’s worried that Elyse is happy with her life and has no future goals. She explains that she’s sick of being single and wants to find love. It seems as if Ben is worried that she’d be happy with just any guy so she doesn’t have to be single. Elyse asks him to be honest with her, so he decides that he knows what he “has to” do. He tells her that he invited her to a one-on-one date because he felt that their connections have missed up to this point. However, he doesn’t think he has a connection with her even after their date that he has with other women.

8:15 Ben does not give Elyse the rose.Third good decision Ben made tonight.

8:25 The girls sense that something’s not right as they wait for Elyse and Ben to come home. Could Courtney’s smile be any bigger? “Maybe she drank too much and the Jersey Shore came out,” Courtney remarked in the snarkiest way possible. Courtney loves that Ben can make a tough decision and that he “shows interest” in her. Just then she decides it’s the moment that they are going to go skinny dipping. He’s not too happy that she doesn’t think twice about breaking the rules and coming to see him.

Ben agrees to skinny dipping. Courtney acknowledges that the girls are going to hate her, but she wants to keep it a secret. Both want to spend time together, but Ben is apprehensive about her approach. Did she just admit she only came to The Bachelor to sleep with Bachelor Ben? Since she “finally” gets to do what she came to do.

8:35 Ben isn’t feeling great about what happened with Courtney! He feels that it wasn’t fair to the others. Jennifer gets private time with Ben at the cocktail party. She admits that she hasn’t felt this way since she was last in love and wants to take him home to her family. Blakely gets private time next. She has “a lot to tell” Ben about how she feels. In the past she never thought someone like him could be interested in her. Truth be told- the chemistry really doesn’t feel like it’s there between them.

Courtney feels that no one has the connection she has with Ben, so she’s having “fun” watching him with the other women. She thinks her secret with Ben is a good thing, if only she knew what he was saying about it!

8:45 Emily tells Ben that she’s thinking more about him this week than how much Courtney is not right for him. She confesses that she wishes she didn’t say anything to Ben, even if she stands by what she said. Ben is upset that she brought it up again after saying she wouldn’t. Ben defends his time with Courtney to Emily and tells her to be careful and not worry about what’s happening with Courtney.

Courtney makes a wish that Emily is gone after tonight.

8:50 The Rose Ceremony!

Kacie B. and Nicki are already safe. One other girl is going home.

“Evenings like this are getting tougher and tougher.. I find myself wanting to pull back and close myself up, but i don’t because you girls continue to stay open.”
