After dedicating Ricki Lake dedicated a dance to her fiancee, fans now Christian Evans on a personal level. Evans entered her life when everything else seemed to crash down around her, now the TV personality is busy planning her wedding.
It seems that Dancing With the Stars is helping her with one of the most stressful parts of planning a wedding- finding the perfect dress.
“I’m looking for wedding dresses, and I just want to feel good about it and what I put on,” she told Life & Style on her 15 pound weight loss. Despite her feeling good her fiancee assures her he loves her either way.

Hope Solo and her partner, Maks Chmerkovskiy, started off Dancing With the Stars tonight with one of the sloppiest Jive performances of the night.
Solo admitted she spent a lot of time traveling for and practicing soccer, and less time in the studio with Chmerkovskiy tightening up their dance moves. Though the pair have good chemistry and choreographed an entertaining routine to Avril Lavigne’s “Girlfriend,” it just didn’t pay off in the end.

Sara Bareilles joined NBC’s The Sing-Off after Nicole Scherzinger left to join The X Factor USA. The “Love Song” songstress is the perfect fit for the show, offering insightful advice to contestants who are competing for a Sony recording contract.
While at college in Los Angeles (at UCLA), Bareilles was part of an a capella group that performed throughout the city. Last week one of her former bandmates showed up on her stage, leaving Bareilles nearly speechless over the situation.

Ricki Lake reported the first injury this season on Dancing With the Stars, tweeting a photo of her bruised shin. Despite her pains, she and Derek Hough have a chemistry unlike most couples on the show. Their chemistry is so strong, the paid moved on to the next episode!
If it’s one thing other contestants can learn from Lake is it’s about having fun, even if it’s nerve-wracking. It was “fun with a capital F” she shared with viewers this week, just before advancing.

Julianne Hough may have left Dancing With the Stars to pursue other endeavors, but her heart is not far from the show. She admitted to OK! Magazine that she’s excited for the new season and already has some favorites in mind.
Hough thinks that soccer player Hope Solo will do well, just as Ricki Lake will (who just happens to be her brother Derek Hough’s partner. “I’m excited to see Chaz (Bono),” she shared. “I think he’ll do great.”
Though Bono is surrounded with controversy so far, Hough doesn’t think it will hurt the show. “Isn’t controversy what you want? I think Chaz is great. It’s a new age.”

One of the biggest transformations in Dancing With the Stars history was last season’s Kirstie Alley. Over the season she shed wait and gained America’s love once again. This past week the runner-up graced the stage at fashion week where she told Entertainment Tonight she’s lost 100 pounds since appearing on the show.
Though she looks great, Project Runway’s Tim Gunn told Tampa’s 98.7 FM that she’s not the size four she claims she is. “There is a phenomenon out there right now that I call the lying deceptive shell game of vanity sizing,” he said. “In fact a 4 is really a 6 or an 8.”

Kim Kardashian may be the star of her own reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, but the starlet is looking to expand her empire. After finishing up her romantic honeymoon with Kris Humphries, the newly wed seems to be working closely with American Idol Executive Producer Nigel Lythgoe to create a new(ish) reality show.
The duo is looking to create a reality show looking for the newest members of the Pussycat Dolls. In 2010 the line up that gained fame with songs including their first hit “Don’t Cha.” Last year the line up experienced a major shake up and “lead singer” Nicole Scherzinger left the group. Pussycat Doll founder Robin Antin is looking to reform the group that gained fame on the L.A. and Las Vegas Strip. This is where Kim and Nigel step in.

Earlier this week the Internet was running wild with rumors that Christina Aguilera got the boot from NBC’s The Voice. The rumor seemed a bit far-fetched after producers shared that all original judges would return for the second season.
In fact, The Voice’s Executive Producer Mark Burnett told E! that the news was furthest from the truth. “Christina is absolutely staying. She is not going anywhere, 100 percent,” he shared. “We were emailing with Christina yesterday. They’re all back.”

When Hollywood producers deem you unreliable, where else can you go but reality TV? This may be why Lindsay Lohan begged American Idol’s Ryan Seacrest to develop a reality TV show for her.
The actress has had her share of trouble in the past few years in and out of court and jail, losing jobs and entering rehab on multiple occasions. Despite all this the actress assures she’s not a has-been, in fact she thinks she’s “in the prime of her life.”

Are you ready? The X Factor USA premieres in less than three weeks! Fox released a sneak peak of the upcoming season with a teaser of the talent you can expect this season.
The promo shows a variety of talent ranging from a 13-year-old student to a 49-year-old man, with a hair dresser and 9-1-1 operator in between. According to Fox, viewers can expect everything from solo acts to the next big boy band.
