Last season on Dancing With the Stars Ricki Lake took third place with Derek Hough. Throughout the season she was open about her relationship with Christian Evans, even after she swore off marriage following a nasty divorce. During one point of the show she even dedicated one of her dances to truly finding love again.
The couple secretly married over Easter weekend, in a ceremony that simply involved she and the man of her dreams. The decision to marry on the beach with just Ricki and Christian has raised eyebrows since the pair didn’t even involve her 10 and 15-year-old sons. Each season of Dancing With the Stars rumors circulate about those couples that become “couples” off the dance floor. Therefore it’s only appropriate that former Melrose Place star Jack Wagner would point out that the relationship between him and professional dancer Anna Trebunskaya is just like a marriage.
“It’s a mini marriage when you have a dance partner,” Wagner told PEOPLE. “This is like a relationship. … Anna can attest to that, having had so many dance partners.” He adds that it’s important to learn how your partner acts and reacts. “We learn when to be funny and have fun, and when to be serious,” he said. “You have to learn when the other person needs space. And we’re learning.”

Gavin DeGraw first made headlines with his hit single “I Don’t Want to Be.” This song was an instant success and even named the theme song of CW’s “One Tree Hill.” The singer/songwriter is currently working on his next project- winning the Dancing With the Stars Mirorrball Trophy.
Pro dancer Karina Smirnoff, and last season’s winner, is working with Gavin, even joining him on tour to practice their dance routine. Karina wrote in her PEOPLE blog that she’s currently with Gavin in Detroit. Read more & comment »

Jack Wagner is considered one of the front-runners of Dancing With the Stars. The soap star has plenty of dancing experience having appeared in a number of musicals throughout his career. His sweet moves from his 80s heartthrob days probably won’t hurt his chances either.
Billy Bush and Kit Hoover spoke with the actor on Access Hollywood Live, where he admitted he’ll do just about “anything” to take home the trophy.
“Thong, pumps, you name it. I’m here to go!” the 52-year-old joked. “I’ve been around dance my whole life, doing a lot of theater and musicals, but it’s been years since I had to move.”

Dancing With the Stars returns next week with a new bunch of actors, athletes and TV personalities fighting for the Mirrorball Trophy. This week the stars have been hard at work getting ready for Monday’s premiere.
In his friendly, fun-loving fashion Packers wide receiver Donald Driver tweeted that he and his partner, Peta Murgatroyd, already got in their first heated fight.
“She @PetaMurgatroyd is such a perfectionist. That she @PetaMurgatroyd mad (sic) me mad. Hard work pays off. Thanks,” he wrote. Peta jokingly wrote back “Silent treatment!” Read more & comment »

Since making headlines as the comeback kid during the 2011 football season, Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow is every girl’s dream man. He’s fit, sexy, kind and loves children! Tim’s not afraid to show his faith and is very vocal on how he feels about religion. He’s exactly the perfect man to bring home to mom and dad.
Tebow Time took America by storm, even leaving Katy Perry’s parents hoping the football star would tame their wild child popstar. Rumors first circulated that the popular quarterback would make a post-NFL appearance on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars. However, when the cast was announced he was no where in sight. Good Morning America announced the cast of Dancing With the Stars season 14 this morning. The front runner in every Wisconsinite’s heart for Dancing With the Stars is no doubt Green Bay Packer’s wide receiver Donald Driver. The Green Bay Packers have the craziest and most loyal fans in the entire NFL, as DWTS declined in ratings last year, this is definitely one way to get an entire state to tune in.
Though Donald Driver is veteran Packer player, most non-Packers fans only identify players like quarterback Aaron Rodgers, wide receiver Jordy Nelson or Clay Matthews as the face of the Packers. Just who is this season’s star athlete? Read more & comment »

Jack Wagner, Melissa Gilbert and Sherri Shepherd are all rumored to be part of the season 14 cast of Dancing With the Stars. Though ABC has not confirmed the next cast, Tim Tebow and Stevie Wonder are both cited as possibilities as well.
Carrie Ann Inaba recently stopped at Access Hollywood Live where she shared her thoughts on the current rumors passing through the Internet. “Tebow would be great on our show,” Carrie Ann said, adding that she wants to be his partner. As for Stevie Wonder, she thinks he’d be “exciting” because they’ve never had a blind contestant on the show. If anything that sounds a tad dangerous, unless the judges will be lenient on lifts.
