The judges made some tough decisions on American Idol this week as they cut the top 40 contestants down to 24. The talent is strong this year, and even looking at the 24, it will be sad to see some of these guys and gals leave after America votes.

Sure, there were some shocking eliminations such as judges favorites David Leathers, Jr. and Jermaine Jones, but unfortunately everyone can’t make it through to the top 24! Though we can all admit it was heartbreaking watching Jermaine break down on his “mommy’s” shoulder.
