American Idol: Josh Ledet Naturally Finds His Way to the Top 70
Joshua Ledet won the judges over from his first American Idol audition. During group day Joshua was part of 679 (also featuring Brielle Von Hugel and Shannon Magrane). Aside from Shannon, he stuck out because his voice is boisterous in just the right ways.
After making it through to the top 98, Joshua came back to perform for the judges with an interesting rendition of Christina Perry’s “Jar of Hearts.” Though it was an odd song choice for a guy, Joshua did a great job. It showed his vocal range well. Though his voice has power, unlike most contestants it sounds natural, not forced. He also has control over the sound quality and volume.
It was an easy choice for the judges to put Joshua through to the top 48.

I like Joshua and I hopw he make it to the finals but I am wondering if the judges will get rid of all the minorities except for the 2 or maybe 3 the usually keep only to kick off before they ever get close to the end. This has become a very predjudiced show and I know Idol has lost a lot of their minority audience. Once again I am sitting her watching the judges kick one minority off after another. Idol has set minorities back 50 years with their predjudice. I wish all the minorities would start going to X Factor and let the white folks just have this show.

I told everyone the judges would kick all the black kids off the show. What are they down to 2 black guys?? No black girls?? So now they are trying to say African Americans can’t sing, right?? I am so through with this show. They have presented the audience with a whole new definition for prejudice. I am not sure what Randy calls himself. I guess he is considered a white person in black skin. This is really sad. Everybody that I know is talking about this show. What a big disappointment it turned out to be. None of those kids will get my vote this year because I don’t intend to watch this sad, sad show anymore and I am encouraging everyone I know to stop watching it. We can certainly wait for X Factor.
